Meet Teacher Carol
18months - 3 years
With over seven years of experience in the Montessori environment, Carol is passionate about nurturing young minds and fostering a genuine love for learning. She treasures the privilege of guiding children as they explore and discover the world around them. Outside the classroom, Carol enjoys discovering new restaurants and embracing culinary adventures. Her goal is to inspire and teach as many generations as possible, leaving a positive and lasting impact on every child she meets.
Meet Teacher Jordyn
3 - 6 years
With a passion for nurturing curiosity and creativity, Teacher Jordyn brings warmth and adventure into every lesson. Her calm, caring nature helps children feel safe to explore and grow. Outside the classroom, she loves hiking, nature, and time with her son, Kylo. After 15 years abroad, her love for travel continues to inspire her joyful, open-minded teaching style.
Meet Teacher Loveness
18 months - 3 years
Teacher Loveness is the assistant teacher in our 18-month to 3-year-old class. She plays a vital role in supporting the children’s early development, spending meaningful time engaging them in sensory activities and ensuring the environment is always calm, prepared, and welcoming. Loveness has a calm and composed presence in the classroom, which helps create a sense of stability and comfort for the children. As a mother to older children, Loveness takes great pride in her role as both a parent and provider. Her dedication to her family and her work is evident in everything she does.
Meet Teacher Kate
3 - 6 years
Kate is our warm and friendly assistant teacher in the 3–6 environment. As a mom to young children herself, she brings a nurturing and patient approach to the classroom. Kate works closely with the children, often spending time with them one-on-one to support their individual learning needs. Her fun, gentle nature helps children feel welcomed and at ease. Outside of school, Kate enjoys spending quality time with her own family, and this love for children shines through in her teaching every day

Our teachers gently guide when needed, while encouraging independence and self-expression, allowing each child to grow confidently, develop resilience, and discover the joy of learning at their own pace.
Outdoor Exploration
We see nature as an extension of the classroom. Our gardens, playgrounds, sandpits, and grassy areas give children daily opportunities to dig, play, and discover. From planting flowers to hands-on animal days, outdoor exploration fosters curiosity, creativity, and a deeper connection to the world around them. Every day outside is a new adventure in learning and growth.
Free Play
At Olivedale we know that free play is essential to a child’s growth. It’s through play that children explore, imagine, and create, building confidence and independence along the way. Free play nurtures creativity, strengthens social skills, supports brain development, and promotes emotional well-being. By making play a part of each day, we help children grow into curious, resilient, and joyful learners.
